Roughage Barn

The barn was built for the mounted units of the garrison in 1910 as a storage place for horse feed. Only 10 years later it was converted into a sales outlet for agricultural machinery and equipment. During National Socialism it was used for military purposes, and after 1945 until 1991 it served as a motor vehicle workshop for the People's Police. Since 2000, it has housed the offices and workshops of the Petersberg construction company, as well as the gun emplacement II next door.
