Tower of the city wall
The tower, which today only exists in remnants, was built in 1413 during the expansion of the old city wall from the 12th century. In 1665 it was shortened in height and included as "Powder Tower 2" in the citadel Petersberg, which was just being built. With the construction of the street around 1900, the tower was largely demolished. In 2001/02, the remains of the structure were secured and supplemented with gabions.
